The Ties that Bind the Philippines to Europe
An event gathering five diplomatic delegates (Britain, Italy, Switzerland, The European Union, and The Department of Foreign Affairs) into one forum crafted not only ESA history but also gave way for great feats of Lasallian initiative and resourcefulness in the presence of diverse ‘easier said than done’ circumstantial atmospheres. Tackling varying portions of international relations while at the same time keeping track with prevailing concerns of the Filipino youth towards Euro-Phil economic, political, and cultural ties.
The European Studies Association gives its utmost gratitude to all those whom participated and made the event possible.
In retrospect, the forum in itself was a success.

These students are also learning Spanish at the university and during their visit, they were very interested in the discussion on the functioning of the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines, all that was practical information about Spain and its culture.
During their visit, the education adviser explained the tasks of the technical assistance in Manila and answered all their questions. All students received promotional materials from different Spanish regions and cities, and supplementary information about education in Spain.
